You are prompted to enter your hosted Exchange account password each time you open Outlook 2003. If you are running on Windows XP it is possible to save your password in Outlook 2003.

NOTE: This process has been recommended by Microsoft; however it does not always work. We have it here as a recommendation. You shold also read the artical calld "How do I stop Windows from asking to remember my passwords" before you decide to let windows keep your outlook password


      To save your password:

    - Find your Exchange Server name in your Outlook Profile.
    - Open the Windows Key Manager:
            - Click Start/Run
            - Type control keymgr.dll Click OK
            - Click Add
            - Enter your Server Name from Step 1
            - Enter your domain\mailbox name. Example: username@domain.com
            - Enter your mailbox password
NOTE: If you do not have your password, please contact your account administrator
            - Click OK
            - Click Close
    - Launch Outlook.
    - When prompted for your password, click Remember Password.
    - Close Outlook after login is complete.
    - Repeat Steps 3-5.
    - Launch Outlook - you should not be prompted for your password.
