Question Title Why aren't people receiving my email?
Delivery time depends on a variety of factors. If others haven't received your email messages, try the following:
  • Make sure the address you sent the email to is correct. Ask the recipient to send you a message and then reply to it. The recipient's email address will now be in your Previous Recipients list (to view it, choose Window Previous Recipients), and should be correct.

  • Check your network connection. If you can visit sites using your web browser, your connection is working.
  • Send your message again later. The server that handles your mail may be temporarily out of service, or the recipient's mail server could be down.
  • Open the Accounts pane of Mail Preferences and check your account information. If you're not sure what your settings should be, see the information you got when you signed up for the account or check the troubleshooting or support area of your ISP's website.
  • Send yourself a test email. If you can send and receive mail, ask anyone who isn't receiving your messages to try sending email to themselves.
  • Some mail servers check that the addresses you're sending a message to are valid. If the mail server finds at least one invalid address, it does not send the message to any of the recipients. When this happens, Mail alerts you that the message was not sent and is being held in your Outbox. Remove or correct any invalid addresses and then try to send the message again.
  • Your IP or mail server's IP may be on a spammer list and therefore blocked by the recipients email server. To check if your IP is on a spam black list
